Mission #1 - Locate Meathook
Mission #1 - Part #1 - The Pre-mission Period
Javonte had been called into JHIE for yet another assignment. He stepped off the elevator at
the seventh floor: secret mission briefings. He walked into the room to find a tape recorder. Javonte pressed the play
button. It was the voice of the Chief. "Javonte, some of our agents bring word that Meathook, your arch-nemesis, has recently
shown an intrest in locating top-secret information on research for highly advanced technology. Your mission, whether or not
you chose to accept it, is to find any clues you can to Meathook's whereabouts. This tape will self-destruct as soon as you
throw it out the window." Javonte threw it out the window. He walked down the hall back to the elevator to get some gadgets
from his gadgetry expert, Agent #3, otherwise known as TechnoEric.
Javonte arrived at the fourth floor to find TechnoEric busy at work on a new gadget. The room
was cluttered with several unfinished inventions. Javonte stepped over them to talk with TechnoEric."Hey, Eric," said Javonte.
TechnoEric returned the greeting. "I've got a new mission and need some gadgets." TechnoEric directed Javonte to the new gadget
showcase.
"You can take whatever you need."
Javonte took the clear plastic tape, his watch, and the flashlight. Javonte filled out the paperwork,
said goodbye to TechnoEric, and headed back to the elevator. He got off again one floor down at the floor of Big Black Steve
Francisco, demolition expert. "Hi, Steve."
"Hey, Javonte. New mission?" he asked.
"Yes, one of the upmost importance. I was going to see if you wanted to come with me on the
mission," said Javonte.
"Well, I would, but I'm in the middle of working on a new bomb. I will, however, give you some
explosives to take with you."
"Thanks, Steve." Javonte headed back to the elevator with a bundle of explosives under his arm.
He went down to the second floor to get some coffee. He then headed down to the first floor's spymobile garage. He grabbed
the keys from his pockets and got in his spymobile Buick. The garage door opened and Javonte headed out with his gadgets,
explosives, and coffee. Javonte had absolutely no idea where he was going start.
Mission #1 - Part #2 - Javonte Hits a Snag
Having no idea what he would do next, Javonte decided to drive around and drink his coffee.
Eventually, he ran out of gas. Javonte started the walk back to the gas station. On the way, Javonte wondered where he could
find Meathook. Despite his efforts, Javonte could not come up with any ideas. He got the gas and took it back to the spymobile.
He decided to head back to headquarters to see if anyone there had any ideas.
Javonte stepped over the smashed tape player in the parking lot and walked inside. He got some
coffee and walked around, hoping for some inspiration. Suddenly, Javonte was hit with an idea: he would look Meathook up in
the phone book. Javonte searched the book for any traces of the word Meathook. Unfortunately, he came up empty handed. Javonte
decided to ask TehcnoEric for advice.
"What do you need, Javonte?" he asked.
"How would I go about finding Meathook?"
"Did you check the phone book?"
"He wasn't listed."
TechnoEric thought for a while. He couldn't think of anything, so Javonte decided to check with
Big Black Steve Francisco. After a nice conversation, Javonte found that Big Black Steve Francisco also didn't have any idea.
Javonte headed to his office to think for a while and drink some coffee. It was there that Javonte found another tape recorder.
Javonte played the tape. To his shock, the speaker identified himself as the voice of Meathook.
"Hello, Javonte. It is I, your arch-nemesis, Meathook! I've taken notice that your agency has
realized my recent activity. Just to let you know, your pathetic Spycrew is no match for me. As you know, I enjoy toying with
you and your little club, so I've had one of my men hijack your prized spymobile. About now, he should in the garage,
about to pull out. He will be driving it up the parking structure across the street from your building, off a ramp, and into
JHIE! You'll have about five minutes after he pulls out of the garage to the time your building crumbles. Have fun..."
Javonte heard the garage door opening downstairs.
Mission #1 - Part #3 - The Race to Save JHIE
Javonte rushed to the elevator, desperate to stop Meathook from destroying his car and his building.
He set his watch to five minutes as he ran down the hall. Thinking slowly, Javonte jumped out the window. In a stroke of miraculous
luck, Javonte landed on the roof of the Buick as it pulled out of the garage. Javonte taped himself to the car so he would
not fall off. He put the tape back in his pocket and set there wondering what he would do next.
The car began accelerating to get to the other side of the building. Javonte had no idea what
he would do. The car sped into the parking garage. Javonte decided to try whatever he could. He got out his tape and taped
the end to the car. He began unraveling it and threw it at a coloumn. Thanks to his expert skills, Javonte managed to get
the tape to wrap around the coloumn. Unfortunately, the side stuck to the car quickly came off.
Javonte was already on the third floor. At the fifth floor, the car would be in position to
take out JHIE. Javonte was in no position to jump off being taped to the car. He wished his pockets were big enough to hold
all the explosives that Big Black Steve Francisco had given him. All he could do was wait for the end of his establishment.
The car entered the top floor of the parking garage. Ahead of him was a ramp, ready to send the car soaring into JHIE.
The car began accelerating toward the ramp. Javonte struggled against the hold of the tape.
It started to come off. Javonte twisted and turned as much as he could. He finally broke free! Unfortunately, the car
was already airborne and heading for the building. Javonte jumped toward JHIE hoping to soar through the open window on the
fourth floor. Javonte seemed as though he would not make it, and the car was almost at the building. Just then, a frisbee
flew through a window and hit the car. Upon contact, it exploded! The blast sent the car flying backwards and Javonte
soaring upward. In another stroke of pure luck, Javonte flew through the window and landed on Big Black Steve Francisco's
waterbed. The crisis had been prevented, thanks to Javonte and some help from an explosive tied to a frisbee. Big Black Steve
Francisco and TechnoEric had saved Javonte's life.
Mission #1 - Part #4 - A Break in the Case
Though the Buick was badly damaged, JHIE had been saved. The Buick was being repaired,
and Javonte and Big Black Steve Francisco were in the break room, drinking coffee. TechnoEric was running the tape recording
for clues to Meathook's where abouts. He rushed in with some news.
"Javonte, Steve, I think you should here this."
They went up to TechnoEric's floor, and he played the tape. The message played. When they neared
the end, TechnoEric directed thier attention to one very faint background noise:
"Attention shoppers! The mall will be closing in ten minutes."
"So Meathook's lair is at the mall?" asked Javonte.
"Not necessarily," replied TechnoEric. "He could have simply made the recording there to
throw us off. But I bet that the mall's security cameras have something on Meathook. We'll have to sneak into their security
room and download yesterday's recordings onto this cd."
"Do you think we can?" asked Big Black Steve Francisco.
"Of course we can," said Javonte. "Let's go tonight."
"I'll need to work on getting the blueprints of the mall," said TechnoEric.
"And I need to finish my exploding key for the locks," said Big Black Steve Francisco.
"Okay," said Javonte. "Tonight we'll get that footage."
With a slight feeling of accomplishment, Javonte headed down to his floor, ready for a
big night of spy work. He got some coffee and headed to his office.
Mission #1 - Part #5 - The Break-In
That night, the Spycrew met at the bus stop with briefcases chuck full of spy gear. They couldn't
take the Buick since it was being repaired. They got on the bus, ready to get the security camera footage. The bus stopped
in front of the mall, and the team got off. As they started toward the mall, TechnoEric started getting the blueprints
out of his briefcase.
"We'd better not take the front door," he said. "It triggers an alarm. Our best bet would be
the skylight on the roof."
Javonte opened his case and removed a rope. He fashioned a lasso and tried to get a hold of
something on the roof. After about five tries, he hooked something, but as he tried to climb, it slipped off. Around the seventeenth
try, however, he got a firm hold. The Spycrew worked their way up and finally made it to the roof. When they got to the
skylight, however, they found the window to be locked.
"I'll give it a try," said Big Black Steve Frnacisco. "I've been working on this one for a while,
now."
He removed a key-like object from his briefcase. He inserted it in the lock. He pressed a button
and instructed the others to stand back. Seconds later, the lock blew up in a small explosion. The three opened the window
and lowered the rope. TechnoEric took another look at the floor plans to check for alarms. He told the others
they's be all right until they get to the security room. They lowered themselves down and headed toward the security room.
When they arived, they found the door's lock to be by a seven digit code.
"If we get the code wrong," said TechnoEric, "the alarm will go off."
"Let me try," said Javonte.
Big Black Steve Francisco and TechnoEric urged him to stop, but Javonte went ahead and entered
his lucky number: 5,286,683. In yet another stroke of luck, Javonte's guess was right. The three entered the room, and
TechnoEric started downloading yesterday's footage. Javonte opened his briefcase and removed a thermus of coffee. He and Big
Black Steve Francisco started a conversation. After TechnoEric finished, the three headed back up the rope and down the wall
of the building. They took the bus back to headquarters and immeadiately started checking the footage. Eventually, they
saw Meathook making the recording. They followed the footage to see where he went. They eventually saw him go into a
taxi. They called the taxi's number to see where he dropped Meathook off at. They were reluctant at first, but when the heard
that the world was at stake, they complied. They found that Meathook was dropped off at a warehouse on the other side of town.
This was also where some of the recently traced activity among Meathook's underlings was taking place.
"Well," said Javonte, "I guess that's another mission accomplished thanks to the Spycrew of
JHIE."

Mission #2
Mission #2 - Part #1 - Pre-Mission
A couple days after Meathook's base was located, Javonte again was called up to the seventh
floor for another mission. He got off the elevator and found a packet of papers. Javonte removed the paper clip and put
it in his pocket. Javonte began reading about his next assignment. "Javonte, we thank you on another job well done. Your efforts
to locate Meathook's base have allowed us to moniter his activity very closely. We have traced some of the previous activity
to that base and are now certain that is his hideout. Now, on to business. We now know more specifically what technology
he has been stealing. It seems that he has been researching weapons along the line of gigantic missles. We have found that
he has been getting his parts from overseas, but if we were to cut off the supply, he would be on to us. As of now, he is
oblivious to the fact that we have located him. We must let him think he has the upper hand. Your mission is this: stop the
next shipment of parts but without being seen. The loss off parts must seem accidental. The shipment information is on the
attached sheets. This paper will self-destruct as soon as you throw it in the fireplace." Javonte tossed the paper in the
flames.
"Well," said Javonte, "guess I'll need some help with this one."
Javonte headed down the elevator to get the rest of the Spycrew. He got off the elevator at
Big Black Steve Francisco's floor. "Hey, Steve," said Javonte. "We've got a new mission. I could use your help. We need to
stop a boat shipment."
"Cool," said Big Black Steve Francisco. "If you can wait until tonight, I can have a new
explosive ready."
"Okay, then."
Javonte left him to his work and headed down to TechnoEric's floor. There were several electric
experiments going on in his research lab. Javonte didn't see where TechnoEric was. "Hello?" said Javonte.
"Hey," said TechnoEric. Javonte looked up. TechnoEric seemed to be stuck to the ceiling. "Could
you slowly turn that dial over there?"
"Sure." Javonte turned the dial slowly. TechnoEric slowly came down. "What are you doing?" asked
Javonte.
"I found some magnets so I decided to see if I could make a hover-vest. So what brings you here?"
"We've got a new mission. I could use some help."
"All right. When do we leave?"
"Steve's working on an explosive. He says he'll be ready by tonight."
"See you then."
They exchanged goodbyes, and Javonte headed down to his floor for some coffee.
Mission #2 - Part #2 - Out to Sea
That night, Javonte met up with the rest of the Spycrew down in the lobby. Javonte brought his
thermus of coffee. Big Black Steve Francisco had finished a new explosive built just for the occasion. He had a briefcase
full of them along with some of his key bombs. TechnoEric hadn't done much work on his hover-vest. He was playing video games
all afternoon. He did, however, wonder how they would stop the shipment. Javonte then claimed to have a plan.
"It's simple. We'll just swim out to the boat, put some explosives on it and swim away really
fast."
"I think I have a better idea," said Big Black Steve Francisco. "Why don't we take the new SpyBoat?"
Javonte and TechnoEric were shocked to see a new key on the official SpyMobile keychain.
They walked to the docks a few blocks away and saw it sitting in the water. The SpyBoat was a motorboat with the JHIE logo
on the side. The Spycrew found the top to be painted navy blue for a slight camoflauge effect. The Spycrew headed out to sea
and checked the charts attached to the mission to see where to go. About ten minutes later, a large boat came into sight.
They slowed down to quiet the engine. They eventually edged up to the boat. Big Black Steve Francisco displayed his new explosive
to the other members of the Spycrew.
"It's an explosive of adjustable blasting power, and I made it waterproof what with the mission
out here in the water."
"So, why don't we just attach it to the side?" asked Javonte.
"It'd be too loud," said TechnoEric. "We need it to be underwater."
Javonte took some goggles from the storage compartment to take a look underwater. He quickly
brought his head out of the water and told the Spycrew they had to see this. The others put on some goggles to take a look.
They were amazed to see several creatures under the water. TechnoEric then explained how this could be a problem.
"They're jellyfish," he said. "I was hoping they wouldn't be this close to shore, but I do have
a backup plan. We'll need to enter the ship, drill a hole in the very bottom, and then stick the explosive in. Or Javonte
could swim through the jellyfish-infested water."
Javonte decided the latter wouldn't be a good idea. The team prepared to infiltrate the boat.
It would be difficult, however. To successfully complete the mission, they could not be spotted.
Mission #2 - Part #3 - The Team Splits Up
The Spycrew headed up the side of the boat via Javonte's rope. They found the coast clear, but
didn't know where to go from there.
"Let's split up," said Javonte.
TechnoEric headed left, Big Black Steve Francisco headed right, and Javonte headed through a
door, straight ahead. Each took one of the new explosives, already set on the quiet setting.
TechnoEric headed across the side of the boat. He eventually made it to the front of the boat.
He saw two guards near a door. They didn't notice him, so he went back around the corner. He went through a nearby door to
see if it would lead down. Luckily, he found a staircase leading down. He got to a hall and headed through. Suddenly, he heard
footsteps. He began back the other way, but there was a guard coming that way, too. He didn't have any gadgets to help him,
so he decided to try something he saw in a movie once. The hallway was just narrow enough. He pressed his back against the
wall and put his feet on the other. He began to scale the wall. He was abe to stay up long enough for the guards to pass by
an out of sight. He continued down the hall, hoping to find another staircase leading down. He found a door at the end of
the hall. He walked through. The door shut and latched behind him. Luckily, there was one other door. Just then, the handle
turned, and a shadowy figure stepped out...
"Let's split up," said Javonte.
Big Black Steve Francisco headed toward the rear of the boat. He arrived at a corner. He looked
around quickly to check for guards. Luckily there were none. He walked around the back to the other side of the boat. He started
walking down that side of the boat. After a while, he arrived at a door. As he was about to open it, the handle began to turn.
Thinking quickly, he climbed over the railing so that he could hold on to the boat and not be seen. The guard walked by, not
noticing him. Big Black Steve Francisco climbed back up and went through the door. He found a staicase behind the door.
He headed down and found a hallway. He saw another door. He turned the handle and walked inside. There he found TechnoEric.
"Phew," he said. "I'm glad your not a guard."
"Hey," said Big BlackSteve Francisco. "It's a fire exit chart. This'll show us how to get to
the bottom of the boat."
They looked at the map and found a single path leading to the boat's bottom. TechnoEric pointed
out that the door leading to the path was heavily guarded. They decided to head down there anyway and think of a plan there.
Mission #2 - Part #4 - And Javonte?
"Let's split up," said Javonte.
Javonte entered the door directly in front of him, hoping to find his way to the bottom of the
ship. He walked in the door and found a room filled with radar and levers.
"This must be the control room," he thought. "Maybe I could get the boat of course instead of
blowing it up."
Javonte looked at all the buttons and controls, hoping to find a "sink ship accidentally" button,
but to no avail. He found a bookcase on one wall. He looked for a manual of some sort, and eventually found a book entitled,
Driving MeatHook's Shipment of Parts for Dummies. Javonte, in a feeling of triumph laid the book on a table and opened
up his briefcase. In a celebration he took out his thermus of coffee for a drink.
"I better get started on trying to stop the ship," he thought.
He set his thermus on the table and opened the book. Just then, the door began to open. Javonte
dove under the control panel, briefcase in hand. A guard walked in. He spotted Javonte's coffee. He looked confused, and went
over to pick it up. Javonte knew if he saw the JHIE logo on the side, their presence would be comprimised, and the mission
failed. Thinking quickly, Javonte reached into his briefcase. He threw out his latest gadget: the fluffy cat. In a stroke
of Javonte's amazing signiture luck, the guard was alergic to cat hair. He sneezed, and spilt the coffee all over the controls.
Alarms went off everywhere. While the guard was distracted with his alergies, Javonte grabbed the cat and his thermus and
ran out the door.
The other members of the SpyCrew were at the corner of the boat trying to get past the guards,
so they could blow up the boat inconspicuously. When they heard the alarm, though, they realized Javonte must have done something.
They headed back to where the boat was and saw Javonte.
"What did you do?" they asked.
"The boat's out of control. We have to get back to the SpyBoat," he said.
Javonte climbed the railing and jumped of the side into the water. The others climbed the rope
back down and helped Javonte into the boat.
The drove the SpyBoat back to shore. They could see the boat in the distance, crashing into
a pile of rocks.
"Well," said Javonte, "another mission complete."
